My name is Isaac Sutherland, and I am standing for election as MPP for the riding of Kitchener South–Hespeler.

I am standing for election because I believe that the government of Ontario needs to publicly acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as King of Kings. For years I have been praying that God would raise up government representatives who walk according to God's law and who do not lift up their hearts above their brothers. Maybe you've been praying the same thing. Well, God has intensified His providential calls to repentance by troubling the world over the past two years, and it seems right to me to expect that God will use these troubles to bring our nation to repentance.

As Ontario repents, her citizens will be looking to establish faithful civil authorities. So if you live in the riding of Kitchener South–Hespeler, I'm asking you to consider whether I might be God's answer to your prayer for a godly, sensible prospective government representive. And if you have not been seeking God, then I dare you to test Him now in the political sphere by voting for someone who honours Him. God is about saving people from their sins and setting people free from the soul-crushing effects of believing lies. You might just find that God's design works out pretty well for you.
